Things that are too cool/trendy for me

but of course I still want because I'm a material whore.

• You know how the iPhone was supposed to be the god phone? Well fuck that; here's the new god phone (possibly) and it's coming from google (maybe) the new Gphone I know nothing about it or even if it exists but all I know is I want one. There's no way it won't be amazing (and my favorite part is the For The Record insert.) All the techies will be all over that one.
• And this pairing has to corner the young hip market. Apple and Volkswagen are rumored to be thinking about working together to make an iCar which will incorporate Apple technology into the car. I have no idea what that would all mean besides it would be the most stylish and cutest thing. Though of course when I get rich and all I'd be more excited about Apple working with Jaguar on the latter's interfaces. Or something. Damn Steve Jobs wants to take over the world.
• But who needs cars with wheels when you can have one that flies...and that really seems like old internet news. Moving on.
  
• I really want an Ina Seifart krawattenarmband or "necktie bracelet": they look so cute! and it's the only way I'll ever wear a tie. Have to stay classy and all.
• And this velvet jacket from J. Crew is really classy and I think it looks pretty. I think I like Riviera or Welsh Purple.That is all. No other witticism.
• These transforming heels would be a godsend though I really hope they could make them look cuter. They "adjust from a high-heeled position of 3¼" down to a 1½" low-heeled, walking-friendly shoe." It is such a practically brilliant idea and one I've wanted for a while, especially when a little tips. Work on that boys, will ya? You could make a killing.
  
• A Picnic Dress! OMG how come no one ever thought of this before? It's so simple, made from a plastic bib, a kitchen towel and a table cloth. Unique yet practical ( for you know picnicy occasions.) Though it seems like if you were to actually use it as a picnic cloth that it would get stained. Hmm, I think I still want though (now if only to find one to buy or maybe make myself) and if I can't find one of those I really want someone from Urban Renewal, or other like minded and artistic persons to redesign some of my clothes or to teach me how to because I have a tonne and they could do wonders.
• Speaking of reusable, American Apparel has a shopping bag/tote that is really cool yet far less pretentious and moralizing than the "I Am Not a Plastic Bag" bag, though I'm a little offended they don't have Rome as one of the cities (I mean it has Eugene!). For shame.
• This khaki vintage medic bag from Vermont Barre's Army Navy is really fabulous yet understated and functional and I got so excited I'm ordering one as I write this.
• And these aren't understated or really functional but I guess printing I'm Britney, Bitch" on every conceivable type of clothing is (topical) very now. Good luck with that.
• Finally should I or shouldn't I want to be found on the Sexual Relationship Database?And if you have the most "friends" and links there does that make you really cool and popular or just a slut? It scares me somewhat: it seems like a very sketchy and dirty idea, but of course when I'll constantly use if it takes off.
