I had a few songs in my head today: Nirvana's Aneurysm which I think I want to save for another day (and to be truthful it hasn't been in my head since like 10 this morning) and then a lot of Weezer songs from the Green Album/Maladroit (or maybe just one in a very long medley; it is surprising how similar a lot of those songs are.)
But the one that stuck most is from an all time favorite Rage Against the Machine, and if they were this angry during the Clinton years it's probably a good thing they disbanded for most of the last 7 years; they probably would have exploded. Anyway your stuck in my head song of the day is Calm Like a Bomb (check the knowledge in the lyrics) from the (f**king sweet) Battle of Los Angeles album and this video is taken from the last live show of their first go round, at the Grand Olympic (they have an amazing website) in Los Angeles and now that I've gotten this second chance I really need to see them live. Otherwise I'm totally the worst l.a. socialist poseur ever
