Your Simply Amazing Stuck in My Head Song of the Day

This is going to be pretty brief (it's halftime of the Duke game...and I have my priorities) but this song was first thought of today because I wanted it to be a song that reflected "Thanks" and this song does that for me. It is Alanis Morissette's Thank U and I'll leave it with this, because this song really speaks for itself with its beauty but when I think and hear this song I think of:

release.
acceptance.
understanding.
truth (beauty).
exhalation.
peace.

Such a beautiful song. of upift.and peace. So on this eve of Thanksgiving here is Your Simply Amazing Stuck in My Head Song of The Day, Thank U by Alanis Morissette

how 'bout getting off of these antibiotics
how 'bout stopping eating when I'm full up
how 'bout them transparent dangling carrots
how 'bout that ever elusive kudo

thank u India
thank u terror
thank u disillusionment
thank u frailty
thank u consequence
thank u
thank u silence

how 'bout me not blaming you for everything
how 'bout me enjoying the moment for once
how 'bout how good it feels to finally forgive you
how 'bout grieving it all one at a time

thank u India
thank u terror
thank u disillusionment
thank u frailty
thank u consequence
thank u thank u silence

the moment I let go of it was
the moment I got more than I could handle
the moment I jumped off of it was
the moment I touched down

how 'bout no longer being masochistic
how 'bout remembering your divinity
how 'bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out
how 'bout not equating death with stopping

thank u India
thank u Providence
thank u disillusionment
thank u nothingness
thank u clarity
thank u
thank u silence

and on a quick totally unrelated note about people I've discovered who seem an awful lot like me, Olivia over at "Olivia's Thoughts..." has a pretty nice collection of scenes of "Standing Up To The Man" (including that famous scene from Norma Rae that I've been trying to find for months and couldn't which forced me to make purses out of a sow's ear on many an occasion) that you can use as a stand in for my "Speechifying"series, but anyway she has a kind of countdown until her 25th birthday that said 119 days until and... I think she's like my exact age as of today, according to this I have 109 days until my 25th, which is kind of frightening because I have so many things I want to have accomplished by then and as I was thinking about it and freaking out and though I may not be exactly where I want to be on that day, or have everything exactly in place and finished and perfect, in the words of JFK, "Let Us Begin"
we'll start tomorrow
how bout it?
