for the week of whatever today is (I 've become very estranged from actual dates) until next Sunday
This whole week I am going to be beating the bushes and sending out cover letters in order to find some sort of gainful employment, so I'll probably be having less than any fun. But that doesn't mean you have to suffer with me so here you go:
- Monday- I haven't found anything that I would want to do, so obviously there's nothing that you would enjoy either. Though I may start composting in my backyard.
- Tuesday- Paris Loves L.A. at the Derby.
- Wednesday-There's usually a 4th of July show at the Queen Mary. Either that or stay home and make sure my pets don't freak out too much.
- Thursday- Bitch at the Bootleg Theatre. The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) at the Ruskin Theatre.
- Friday-Malcolm Jamal Warner's play Love & Other Social Issues at the Assistance League Playhouse. or Rocco Deluca & The Burdens at the Henry Fonda Theatre. (You may recognize that band's name from the documentary I Trust You To Kill Me which was about how Keifer Sutherland , as sort of their A&R man and roadie went on tour and gave us this immortal moment.)
- Saturday- The Decemberists with the L.A. Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl (!)(!)(!)
- Sunday- The Magic Flute at the Hollywood Bowl (performed by the L.A. Phil) or The Dogs of Baghdad at the Promenade Playhouse.
