I Had No Idea They Were Doing This

As promotion for The Simpsons Movie 11 7-11s in the U.S. have been refitted into Kwik-E-Marts. Such a good idea! I really wanna to go visit one. There's one in L.A., or more specifically Burbank that I could go to, but its the middle of the summer, and we're in the middle of a heat wave, and so going into the Valley would be like going into the warmest part of hell. Good thing LAist was willing to make the journey and bring back proof.
All this promotion, like picking a real Springfield to host the premiere, is really starting to help. At first I wasn't excited at all about the movie; after 17 years, how many new fresh ideas are there? But this kind of stuff is really getting me into the mood. Well done, well done.
And on the Simpsons Movie Website you can make yourself into a Simpsons character, and who hasn't wanted to do that? Here's me, or as close as I could get, with 4 fingers. (and if you wanna save or post your avatar you need to do a screen grab, or at least thats what I did.) I chose the three eyed fish because nuclear waste is fun!
