The World Turned Upside Down

Federer Loses!!!!!(in straight sets to Novak Djokovic)
I mean whaaa? I don't know what to believe anymore but of course my mind immediately goes to:

Listen to me and you shall hear, news hath not been this thousand year:
Since Herod, Caesar, and many more, you never heard the like before.
Holy-dayes are despis'd, new fashions are devis'd.
Old Christmas is kickt out of Town.
Yet let's be content, and the times lament, you see the world turn'd upside down.

The Djokovics after the match (as depicted by Jan Steen about 348 years ago)

"I've created a monster, so I know I need to always win every tournament," Federer said

Yes, I’ve come to expect nothing less

(John Trumbull painting depicting the surrender at Yorktown of British General Cornwallis to allied Continental and French troops)

If buttercups buzz'd after the bee,
If boats were on land, churches on sea,
If ponies rode men and if grass ate the cows,
And cats should be chased into holes by the mouse,
If the mamas sold their babies
To the gypsies for half a crown;
If summer were spring and the other way round,
Then all the world would be upside down.

(apparently that song wasn’t played in Yorktown when the British surrendered...and other lies my teacher told me)

Though perhaps I’m making too big a deal of this- I mean it’s not like he lost to Andy Roddick [oh snap!]
