So as I'm sure you know by now Freddie Thompson has decided that running for president is a lot more work than he was willing to take on in his golden years and so has dropped out. Of course I'm not surprised- I really thought he'd drop out before Thanksgiving. (radar has a nice timeline of news paper headlines that tell of the Excitement and ::shrusg shoulders:: of the Thompson campaign)
But even with his total nonchalance and just utter "meh" ness I'll still miss my La-z Good Ol' Boy if for no other reason then it was a dream of mine to ask him why exactly he fired Serena Southerlyn; was it because she was a lesbian?
