*but I'd like to see or experience
- After reading this article in the NY Times I kinda want to be Anna Netrebko "when I grow up;" she seems amazing, seems to have an amazing life and to be enjoying it.And she actually has talent, which is rare in this day and age.
- though I would be content to be a waitress for Donald Trump's table. A $10,000 tip on an $82 bill. It's like "It Could Happen To You" except Trump has better hair than Nic Cage. Oh and aren't tips non taxed as well? A-maz-ing
- Actually you got be thankful for what you already have. And so I never want to be like this father in rural India with a rare condition that made him "grow tree roots." It's like so mythological, but not nearly as cool in real life. Hopefully the cure works.
- As you must have heard all South Park episodes will be posted online for free. Like legitimately (because there are at least 6 sites I know of that have every episode already online.
- This is from a somewhat old article (sorry I forgot about it) but the LA Times had a list of 15 things you have to see in California- The Golden 15. I may have to plan a road trip around Cali sometime next year.
- This is an incredibly powerful idea and image, Paul Chan's production of Waiting for Godot in the Lower 9th of New Orleans.
- Christian Bale is rumoured to star as grown up John Connor in the new Terminator franchise, a bit of casting that seems just perfect. He has that rugged post apocalyptic dangerous vibe down.
- Sadly we may need a John Connor for real."Scientists in Portsmouth and Shanghai are working on intelligent software that will take them a step closer to building the perfect robotic hand." I don't know what to say anymore. When will people learn that each of these new robotic advancements is just leading us closer to our enslavement by these Robots. Screw it, I'm moving to Vancouver. nothing bad or dystopian could ever happen there.
- P.S. I am now officially a fan of Lykke Li. Plus her name is just awesome.
- Movies Opening This Week

Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding
Dirty Laundry
Atonement (I really wanna see this. I should've gone to the sneak but this cold is wrecking all fun)
The Amateurs
The Walker
Grace is Gone (which seems utterly heartbreaking)
Looking for Cheyenne (Oublier Cheyenne) [the trailer is in French with Italian subtitles. sorry. think of it as an educational exercise]
