Your Stuck in my Head Song of the Day

Your Stuck in My Head Song of the Days is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” and I know it’s cheesy and cliché but it is a great fun festive song and I’m allowed to be girly. Though if it helps any of my “music cred” the other songs I was thinking about were Marilyn Manson’s “Cake and Sodomy” (and there’s some great footage of them “before they were big”) but I thought that may not fit the “season” (and at home over the next week I feel I’ll get plenty of cake; sodomy? Not so much)
and the song I was actually excited about doing for a while. It’s a song by The Vandals “My First X-Mas as a Woman” a song I think I first heard when I was like 13 on KROQ and one that immediately became a favorite of mine (hopefully at this point I don’t have to spell it out.)
And I was so excited because this year is really like my first Christmas as a Woman and it’s exiting and all and for the first time its true (besides the post-op stuff-I’m planning on that happening before my 10 year high school reunion so I have a few years left.)
But it’s a really fun song and I thought it would be perfect

(ok there may be some sporadic posts over the next week or so [or maybe forever if I decide I’m bored of this experiment] but this is my last real day of posting. So after a 50 post week, which was my record, here’s a 60+ post week. I think that’s a nice enough send off till the new year. )
