Oh Posh, you grow on me more, day by day

A quick roundup of all things Victoria Beckham (because she's majuh)

• The Brits, who have known and "loved" her for much longer than we Yanks are debating whether she is their most embarrassing export ever, or absoultely fabulous. I say a little from column a , a little from column B.
• It's good to see Posh and her boys experiencing the best of America, and its food, as they dine at a TGI Fridays in Woodland Hills. I love the Dodger shirt; I'm glad to see he's rooting for the right team
• I guess that was after her kids had soccer practice and Posh put all the other soccer moms to shame, while her son schooled the Americans on the pitch
  
• And apparently my new love will never be friends with my old obsession. Perhaps its because Paris is supporting Chelsea and partying with them, though I wouldn't mind partying with one Frank Lampard ::swoon::

And finally...

before my 13 hour break, I have to share with you the most important news ever and it is official:
The Spice Girls are reuniting!!! And their first show is in L.A. on December 7th (please no Pearl Harbor/ day of infamy jokes)
I hadn't planned on being in So Cal then, but I may have to change all potential career plans.

I haven't been this excited since yesterday. In honor of impending world (re)domination here's one of my fav songs ever-

I'm Not Even Mad, I'm Impressed

I think that the feminist and all the women who worked and strove so hard for equality between the sexes would be incredibly proud today. A woman in Tacoma was arrested for a DUI with a b.a.c. of .50(!!!) tied for the highest b.a.c , which is more than six times the legal limit. That women is a champ! No one has to tell me how dangerous and irresponsible drinking and driving is, it's horrible and she should be punished, but I have to admit if I needed a night of incredible blackoutness, she would be high on my speed dial.

It's at times like this when only one thing comes to mind: Girl Power!!!
Hahahah; sorry. Think I'm excited about the reunion? Anyway if you wanna figure out your own b.a.c (it is the weekend after all-though I doubt you'll be by a computer) here's a handy little link.

Midweek News Linkapalooza

• An article in New York Magazine is saying scientists have discovered "traits that make people seem gay." Let the stereotyping begin! (p.s. my gaydar is incredible)
• Free Angelyne! (if you don't know who she is, you really should move to L.A.)
  
• Some states are debating whether those who are legally insane should be able to vote. After the elections of 2000 and 2004 I'd have to say I'm going to lean toward No.
• Sarkozy, the newly elected President of France is saying that he wasn't drunk at the G8 but was rather out of breath. I don't know; he sure looks drunk and he definitely sounds it- I mean I can't understand a single word he's saying.
• Guess who's making a comeback!!! (Oh please G*d) Not him....
• Scary, Ginger, Posh, Baby and Sporty!!! That was so 9th grade- I can't wait.
• And this is so wrong, on so many levels, but it's like they're in my head (I think I'd have to go with Maddox, though Zahara is a close close second)
