I must admit though, my guilty pleasure are reading obituaries and wedding announcements searching for gay couples. It's heartwarming (if they're both attractive.)
When a mime does, is a moment of silence really the best way to remember him? I'm thinking a moment of loudness would be a better salute, a moment of silence is just another moment to a mime. Get them to just shout, it will probably be therapeutic for them as well. Good to see I am not the only one with dead mime material.
